Day 17: Always Somethin'

Getting stuck when you're learning something can get frustrating. As of today, I learned that you can't just drill your way through learning a skill. You have to keep trying until you can't try anymore, and then take a break. Just like when you're lifting weights, if you get to a point where you can no longer lift, you have to take a break.

The past has taught me that I will eventually learn what I need to learn if I keep on going. The foundation for my music consists of good and great things. That's why, even when I'm frustrated, I know things will work out. I don't want to compare to other people, but a lot of people quit when they hit a roadblock. That's why the most important thing is to choose to do something you genuinely enjoy, otherwise you're becoming an expert in something you don't like and years can go by before you realize how much time you used.

Whether I'm celebrated at the peak of my music, or underrated... I just want to keep going for myself... and if people keep up with me... the more the better.
