You ever make something that you really put some effort into but didn't fully appreciate it until later on? That's what happened to me today! I'm always working to be better than yesterday, and in the process I assume that what I did before isn't as good as what I can do now.
Despite this, I looked over some of my cover songs on my IG and when I made these covers, I thought they were like a 7/10 (or less). Now I'd say they're at least a 7.5 to 8/10. I have improved my listening skills from my vocal lessons, and can confidently listen to something I heard and KNOW if it's good or bad (good or bad determined by pitch, creativity, dynamics, and control).
And while my old stuff is pretty good, I can confidently say that the nuances of music training that I've had will make my music better.
